Laura Soares was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She started a modeling career in her early teens and quickly became a popular Brazilian swimsuit model. Around 2005 Laura moved to the United States, initially in San Diego California where she attended college. After college Laura moved to Los Angeles where she pursued her vision of running her own designer swimwear business.
